Viola arrived without any literature of any kind, and missing the fine tuners. Yet my kid loves it and doesn.t want me to send it back. Does anyone know how I can contact Molinari?

4Sounds fairly goodFeb 02, 2014

This viola plays decently, but only after replacing the worthless "red label" string with a set of $40 helicores. The overall finish was good. The bridge was very well fitted, and required no adjustments. The bow seems OK, although a few strands of horsehair have broken on the first day of use. The smart-looking tailpiece includes four black fine-tuners, which work smoothly with the tuning pegs for tuning the instrument. The bottom line is that it sounds and works well enough to invest in a $100 set of viola strings at some point in the future.
